Terms & Conditions
At Music Bus we want to ensure that you, your children, and any other carer that accompanies your child/ren to a session enjoys their experience to the full.
These are the terms and conditions which apply to services provided by Music Bus Chard, Tiverton and Surrounding Area including the Franchisee, class leaders, staff and volunteers.
Please note that Music Bus is a franchised business, and your classes and events are provided by an independent Franchisee who is responsible for the Music Bus activities you book from them. Your contract is made between you and the Franchisee at the time of booking.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
To contact us, you can find our contact details here https://musicbus.com/classes/. We will forward your message onto your local Franchisee who will respond.
In your Music Bus class, you and your child’s enjoyment, safety and wellbeing during our classes and events, together with that of the Franchisee and staff, is our top priority, and as such it is a condition of booking that we request you to agree to the terms and conditions of this policy at the time of booking.
General Terms
Before attending a Music Bus class it is essential that you read the following terms and conditions and acknowledge receipt and your agreement by completion of the online registration form.
1.Arrival
On the day of your class please arrive on time.
2.Illness
If your child or their accompanying adult has, or develops, a medical condition please consult your doctor before attending your class and inform your Franchisee/class leader by email. This information will remain confidential.
Please do not attend a class if your child has any form of contagious illness including diarrhoea, impetigo, chicken pox, conjunctivitis, an ear infection or bad cold. Please ensure they, and you, are in good health again before returning to your class. If your child has been suffering from sickness and/or diarrhoea, please ensure they have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours prior to attending a class. Music Bus will not accept liability for any infection transmitted to a child or carer by another member of the class. If during a class, you/your child begins to feel unwell, please let your Franchisee/class leader know immediately.
3.Covid -19
We have included certain provisions regarding Covid-19, and in the event that the current situation changes, we will comply with the prevailing UK government guidelines, advice and law. Please note that variations to these guidelines might apply in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and as such the prevailing local regulations must also be taken into account in those areas.
At such times, if necessary, the way we run Music Bus classes may change according to the law for your safety and wellbeing. We will seek best advice from published information and local environmental health officers as well as working with venue management to ensure the safe operation of classes for all our benefit. Any necessary changes to our terms and conditions will be applied at such time.
4.Face covering
Whilst no longer compulsory at this time, if the government law/advice changes we may ask you to wear a face covering whilst entering, leaving and moving around the venue or as deemed appropriate. If you would prefer to wear one anyway please do so.
5.Hygiene/Cleaning
We are doing our very best to ensure your environment is clean and safe during your Music Bus class and we thank you for your help and cooperation.
6.Responsibility
You, or the adult carer accompanying your child to their Music Bus class or event, remains fully responsible for your child at all times. You must stay on the premises and supervise your child at all times. Your Music Bus Franchisee, class leader, or any member of staff does not accept any responsibility for your child at any time.
7.Payments
Details of the payment method/s can be found on your Franchisee’s payment booking platform page of the website (Class for Kids). Payment for fees due should be made through the online booking system or as directed by your Franchisee. To secure your child’s place payment needs to be made in full by the required date. For any variations to this, please contact your local Music Bus Franchisee for details. Your booking is subject to your agreement to the terms and conditions.
8.Change to class time and venue
Occasionally a class may need to merge with another class if it has reduced in size over time and is no longer practical to operate on its own. In this event, your Franchisee will endeavour to find a suitable alternate class time to offer but cannot guarantee this. If you should request to change your class day, time, or venue, your Franchisee will endeavour to satisfy your request where possible but cannot guarantee this.
9.Adverse Weather
Unfortunately we often receive some bad weather which may result in a venue being closed and/or the Franchisee, or class leader, being unable to travel to the venue. If this is the case, we will give you as much notice as possible. A catch-up session will be offered or where this is not possible, a credit will be applied to your account. However, if the venue is open, the class will go ahead. If you do not attend where a class goes ahead, no credit will be given. If you are in any doubt as to whether your session will go ahead, please contact your local Franchisee.
10.Cancellation of Class
If, for any reason, your Franchisee or member of staff has to cancel a class this will be rescheduled, or a refund or credit to your account for future classes will be applied.
11.Refunds
No refunds will be given for classes missed by yourself for any reason.
12.Dispute Resolution
We hope that you and your child/ren will enjoy your Music Bus experience.
If you have any questions or complaints about a Music Bus class or event, please contact your Franchisee who your contract is with.
Alternatively you can email helen@musicbus.com and your communication will be forwarded to your local Franchisee who is responsible for all aspects of customer service within their franchise area. Music Bus is a Franchise Support Office and does not serve for the resolution of customer disputes.
